The terms and conditions set forth herein reflect Vertex Detailing LLC's policy with respect to each of its customers. All customers of Vertex Detailing agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth below.
Your vehicle and our safety
Your vehicle and performing proper detailing techniques is our first priority. We will not perform any service that shows potential to cause harm or damage to your vehicle. Prior to Vertex Detailing performing services on your vehicle, you, the owner, will advise us of any cosmetic or mechanical issues that would prevent us from completing the detail.
Please let us know if your vehicle poses a potential threat to our health and/or safety. If there is the threat of any harmful substances (needles, drugs, gasoline, etc.) in the vehicle, you must let your detail technician know prior to your detail. You will be held responsible for any health and/or safety issues arising from your vehicle. Vertex Detailing reserves the right to refuse service, including for vehicles in unsafe or extreme condition.
Appointments and cancellations
- We require a minimum of 24 hours notice to change or cancel an appointment.
- If your vehicle cannot be detailed once we arrive, you will still be charged the full amount of your scheduled appointment. This includes not being present or not providing access once we arrive.
- We will arrive as close to the scheduled appointment time as possible. Sometimes situations occur that disrupt the daily schedule. Our safety will never be compromised by rushing to meet a schedule. You will be contacted and advised of a new arrival time when schedules change beyond our control.
- Exterior services are weather dependent and may be rescheduled in rain or when temperatures are below 40°F.
Results and additional charges
- We will provide our best expertise in removing stains; however, we are not responsible for the guarantee of returning a stain to a perfect condition. Some stains are permanent.
- There are no guarantees of bringing your vehicle back to a specific condition (for example, showroom new).
- Additional charges apply for heavy stains, excessive pet hair, excessive debris removal, and personal item removal due to the additional time it takes. Final pricing may vary based on vehicle size, condition, and service requirements. We will tell you before we start.
- Ceramic coatings protect and add gloss. They do not remove existing swirl marks or scratches, and we do not offer paint correction.
- We will neither remove nor install custom equipment from your vehicle. This includes, but is not limited to, seat covers, subwoofers, light bars, pet protectors, and bumper stickers. If you want these areas cleaned underneath, please remove them before your appointment.
Payment and deposits
- We accept card, cash, check, and Venmo. Payment is due at the completion of the detail, after your walk-through.
- Card and check payments are subject to Minnesota sales tax. Cash payments are not.
- Pro and MAX ceramic coating packages require a $100 deposit at booking, which is applied to the final balance. No other services require a deposit.
- If a deposit was paid online, Vertex Detailing reserves the right to charge the remaining balance after your detail is completed to the card used for the deposit. Vertex Detailing will never charge an amount that was not made known to you when you booked.
Promotions, referrals, and maintenance plans
- All discounts must be mentioned at the time of booking and cannot be applied retroactively. Offers cannot be combined unless explicitly stated. Discounts have no cash value and are non-transferable.
- Military and first responder discount: 10% off, mention at booking.
- Referral code "REFERRAL" must be mentioned at time of booking. A 10% discount applies to the referred customer's first completed service only. The referring customer receives 10% off their next service only after the referred service is completed and paid in full. If the referred customer cancels, no-shows, or does not complete service, no referral discount is issued. Limited to one per visit.
- Ceramic coating code "SYSTEMX" is valid for $100 off a first full ceramic coating package only and is not valid on add-ons, partial coatings, or maintenance coatings.
- The $150 maintenance plan introductory detail is valid only when enrolling in a Monthly or Seasonal maintenance plan and must be used within 30 days of enrollment. It requires a minimum of two plan visits afterward; if the plan is cancelled before two visits are completed, the difference between $150 and the regular Premium Full Detail price will be billed.
- Maintenance plans are billed per visit after each service, require an active enrollment, are subject to scheduling availability, pause when temperatures are below 40°F, and may be cancelled at any time by text with 48 hours notice before the next scheduled visit.
- Vertex Detailing reserves the right to modify or cancel promotions at any time.
Gift cards
Gift cards never expire, may be used across multiple visits, and are redeemable toward any Vertex Detailing service. Gift cards are not redeemable for cash.
Photographs and video
We have your permission to take pictures or videos of your vehicle for marketing purposes. License plates are obscured in any image we publish. These images will never be sold or given to third parties. Tell us at your appointment if you'd prefer we not photograph your vehicle.
Damage and accidents
- Reimbursement will not be paid for any minor cosmetic damage due to detailing your vehicle. Reimbursement will be paid for any major damage caused to your vehicle due to our gross negligence or willful misconduct. Vertex Detailing will approve the body shop and/or vendors before issuing any reimbursement.
- If something arises after the detail that was not noticed during the final walk-around, you must contact us within 24 hours and, if needed, schedule a touch-up detail within 5 days.
Indemnification
Each customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Vertex Detailing LLC, its owners, employees, and affiliates from and against any and all liabilities, expenses, damages, and costs, including attorney and legal fees, arising out of Vertex Detailing services, including without limitation any accidental property damage not relating to the services performed, and any injury or issue arising after our services have been completed.
